AGL’s latest creation in industrial laminators, is designed for the solar industry. This process required high thermal capabilities as well as, large diameter nip rolls to assure high nip pressures for the application of solar panels. AGL’s proprietary nip roll design with concentrically ground non-crowned nip rolls covered with high temperature silicon coverings suited this application perfectly.

Safety features include clear Lexan hinged nip protection guards on the front and rear of the machine. These hinged doors were interlocked with the autorun feature of the laminator, and included four emergency stop switches at all four corners of the machine. This machine features 1 - 30 fpm operating machine speeds. Other standard features include:

• 1 unwind/rewind supply shaft station with safety chucks
• 1 dedicated unwind station with safety chucks
• 1 dedicated rewind station with safety chucks
• Pneumatically controlled nip assembly with 3.0 nominal opening
• Pneumatically controlled pull roll assembly with 3.0 nominal opening
• 8-inch diameter nip rolls with high temperature silicon rubber
• Pulsed DC anti-Static control system
• Rotary output trimmer assemblies
• 360-degree swivel caster infeed table with roller bearing right angle infeed guide
• Element style air shafts at all stations
