About the Mount-Smart Mounting Adhesives
Mount-Smart™ is our intuitive lineup of adhesives and carrier combinations that are optimized for every possible mounting substrate and media type on the market.
Mounting adhesives, whether rubber, water, solvent, or acrylic based, are formulated for a specific function. Carriers are incorporated into the material for ease of use and to provide specific functionality to the mounting adhesive, such as opacity or clarity. Carriers vary in thickness and material types, such as vinyl or polyester.
Release liners have different types of coatings applied to vary the “release characteristics,” which affect the ease of use and performance. Most are paper based and vary substantially in weight. Heavier weights generally provide better lay flat properties after decaling, making it more user friendly. Some release liners are film based and are often used in optically clear mounting applications (i.e. face mounting). All of these variations impact the cost of creating the mounting adhesive.
Remember, the engineers at AGL understand the mechanical forces at work when mounting images to substrates for a specific application. Mount-Smart™ Bronze
Mount-Smart™ Bronze is a high-tac, PH neutral solvent acrylic adhesive for use with most foam board products that have a paper based surface and are white in color. Best used for paper based foam board.

Mount-Smart™ Silver
A superior adhesive compare to Mount-Smart™ Bronze. Mount-Smart Silver sets the standard by which all other adhesives are compared too. Used by AGL industrial clients for years Mount-Smart™ Silver provides exceptional value and performance. Recommended for all paper based foamboard products including black, neutral and white Gator Foam. Best used for smooth hard boards. (i.e. Masonite®, Dibond® Gatorfoam® and Omega SignBoard®)

Mount-Smart™ Gold
Mount-Smart™ Gold is a PH neutral solvent acrylic adhesive. The white carrier makes this product ideal when mounting to dark or black substrates such as black gatorboard. Mount-Smart™ Gold is also an effective money saving alternative to bonding the back of a face mounted image to DiBond or Sintra when creating fine art graphics. Mount-Smart™ Gold sets the standard by which all other adhesives are compared. Mount-Smart™ Removable
Formulated with double duty in mind Mount-Smart™ Removable provides an excellent Bond strength adhesive to your prints, while maintaining remove ability for up to 6 months. Perfect for making floor graphics and other type temporary signage that will be removed or replaced. Mount-Smart™ Removable is used for mounting images that will be temporary, such as floor graphics.

Mount-Smart™ Removable Window

Mount-Smart™ Opti-Clear-PLus
