AGL 44 Inch Industrial Laminator

AGL’s latest creation in industrial laminators, is designed for the aerospace industry. This process required high thermal capabilities as well as, increased nip roll pressures for the formation of curved graphite turbine engine blades. AGL’s proprietary nip roll design with concentrically ground non-crowned nip rolls covered with high temperature silicon coverings suited this application perfectly.

Safety features include a nip protection circuit prior to the nip, as well as emergency stop switches at all four corners of the machine. This machine features .5 - 30 fpm operating machine speeds. Other standard features include:

  • 5 Cantilevered unwind/rewind supply shaft stations
  • Pneumatically controlled nip assembly with 3.0 nominal opening
  • Pneumatically controlled pull roll assembly with 3.75 nominal opening
  • 8-inch diameter nip rolls with high temperature silicon rubber
  • Pulsed DC anti-Static control system
  • Cooling blower assembly
  • Removal front in-feed table
  • Removal rear out-feed table

In many laminating markets standard run-of-the-mill pressure sensitive/thermal mounting presses do not meet specific laminating requirements. Advanced Greig Laminators, Inc. (AGL) has answered this dilemma with an industrial laminating product line that can be customized and configured to specific customer requirements. Advanced Greig Laminators, Inc. (AGL) specializes in custom designed industrial laminators. We encourage customers to combine process requirements into custom machine configurations. By utilizing standard subassembly components such as unwind stations, rewind station, nip roller assemblies and pull rollers in numerous widths (14”, 36”, 40”, 64”, 80”, 110”) AGL can create a custom laminator in a cost-effective fashion.

High performance laminators from a name you have trusted for over 65 years. Equipment design for the wide format Digital Imaging Market, or for Custom Industrial Applications, we have a solution for you. For more information contact AGL at 1-800-276-2664.
